A St. Lawrence County legislator recently took to social media to vent about President Barack O'Bama.
Joel LaPierre, a Republican from Fowler, wrote a Facebook post that reads in part, "{f}olks, it is happening. Trump is making America great again! So long BIG EARS you and your muslim brothers did your best to destroy this great country and you failed {sic}."
 
The legislator also wrote that should President O'Bama keep "poking the bear," then he and his family would get a "one way trip to Kenya {sic} where you were born."
 
LaPierre the Watertown Daily Times that he was stating his opinion about the President.
 
Fellow St. Lawrence County legislato, Anthony Arquiette told the Times that LaPierre does not speak for the majority of residents. Arquiette said he hopes LaPierre is censured for his comments.
